Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has signed a new four-year contact to keep him at the club until 2017.
Toure, who turns 30 in May, pledged his future to the Premier
League side with the new long-term deal which was confirmed on
Thursday afternoon.
"This is where I want to be," Toure told the club's official
website.
"Now it is about us being the best team in whatever competition we take
part in."
Toure joined City from Barcelona
in July 2010 on a five-year deal which saw him link up with his older
brother Kolo, who joined the club from Arsenal the previous year.
